Women are empowered more than ever today, yet our society has never objectified women worse.
Why?
Well it may be because people don’t seem to understand the difference between a women who is comfortable with her sexuality and a sex object.
A sex object uses their sex as to create an allure of the unobtainable around them…..and thus become objects for man to strive towards.
Whereas in reality beauty is just another facet of a dynamic persona that is any individual woman.
To say his from a man’s perspective: A man who is comfortable with his penis (like me) doesn’t go waving it around in public ( like me, like ME).
Feminists say that it all lies in the hands of the media which is run by Men with a M. This may be true but I believe it’s every woman’s individual journey to represent themselves as more than just objects and admittedly to deal with and hopefully avoid the men who think otherwise.
I’m not a woman so I don’t know but I hope you women have the role models to aspire to during the tough times.
